USAID/Sri Lanka requires the services of a long-term Senior Infrastructure Advisor to provide assistance to the Bureau of Infrastructure Investment (BII) and to the Government of Sri Lanka, to help build the Government's capacity to identify, develop, and promote private participation in infrastructure, by creating the procedural framework to tender and evaluate infrastructure projects. The Advisor will also provide counsel to the BII and line agencies which are currently negotiating and tendering specific infrastructure projects. The contract is for a period of one year to start, with option to extend the contract for up to two years. Desired start date will be June 1, 1996. The salary range for the position is equivalent to FS-1 plus appropriate offshore benefits IAW USAID policies.
