Charge requires all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment,
transportation and management to provide a collection point, pro
permitted sanitary landfill to receive refuse delivered by the
Government which will include non-hazardous putrecibile and
non-putrecible solid waste such as garbage, debris, rubbish, minor
construction refuse, condemned food, expired medical supplies,
non-hazardous sandblast grit, split tires, wire cable, nylon rope and
other similar materials. Condemned food and expired medical waste will
be delivered separately from all other refuse. The landfill site must
be within a 40 mile radius of the Norfolk Naval Base, Norfolk,
Virginia. Sanifill of Virginia, Inc., 100 North Park Lane, Hampton,
Virginia 23666, is the only known source that can meet this
requirement. This proposed contract action is for services for which
the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source
under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their
interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit
proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive
proposals. However, all proposals received within 30 days after the
issuance of a Request for Proposals, will be considered by the
