Notice is given hereby that Adams & Associates, Inc., on behalf of the U.S. Department of Labor will accept bids for Project Number WL96-002, for the Electrical Service Installation at the Woodland Job Corps Center, 3300 Fort Meade Road, Laurel, MD 20724. This work will be accomplished in accordance with the general scope of work and described in general as: Provision electrical service from BG & E Meter to current building utilities, disable the two current distribution systems and rewire internal wiring systems to accommodate single (BG & E) distribution system, and remove disabled transformers, transformer platforms, cabling as required and associated equipment including two telephone poles. Sealed Bids will be received at the Woodland Job Corps Center until 3:00 PM on April 12, 1996. A pre-bid meeting and walk through will be held at the Woodland Job Corps Center for interested contractors on April 2, 1996 at 10:00 AM. All contractors interested in bidding on this job MUST attend. Adams & Associates reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities and select the bidder deemed most responsible. The funding for this project is from the Federal Government D.O.L. which approved these funds for use by the Woodland Job Corps Center. Bidders should be aware of the requirements for federally funded projects and act accordingly.
