Single award term contract for period 080196 to 073199 (3 years) for Department of Army. Production area, nationwide. Security clearance required through secret. The production of silver halide archival negative microfiche from furnished print image magnetic tapes, and raw data base tapes, full text data base tapes. Some tapes will be furnished for use on standard COM equipment. For some orders contractor will be required to keystroke minimally prepared manuscript copy for either insertion at the beginning and ending of a publication for which tapes are furnished; or, creation of a new publication for which tape does not currently exist. In addition the contractor will be required to produce duplicate (distribution) microfiche, gather in sets, package and ship. Tapes furnished by the Government may require special preparation and touch-up work which may have to be closely coordinated with edition of each publication and fomat produced under this contract. Approx 50 orders annually. No more than 14 orders will be placed in any one month. Orders will range from 1 to 100 silver-gelatin camera masters and intermediates per set. Duplicate (distribution) diazo cut microfiche to be from 10 to 80,000 sets. Bid request on firm's letterhead. (092)
