This project consists of placing approx 1500 lineal ft of 8-inch gravity flow sewerline and connecting the sewer system in Spruces Campground with the main canyon sewerline which runs along the edge of State Hwy 152. The work utilizes high density polyethylene pipe and includes an encasement of ductile iron pipe and concrete for 30 ft where it passes beneath Big Cottonwood Creek. Excavation depths vary with max approx 17 ft. Spruces Campground is located approx 9.5 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon from it's junction with Wasatch Blvd., Salt Lake City, Utah. Solicitation will be issued approx 4/22/96. This proposed procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Plans will be available at a $15 non-refundable charge on a first come first served basis.
