Work includes removal and salvage of taxiway lighting fixtures and materials; removal of asphaltic and portland cement concrete pavements, construction of new asphaltic and portland cement paving; airfield lighting pavement marking; and incidental work as required at MCAS, Yuma AZ. Construction schedule is contingent upon minimizing impact on scheduled Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) courses. The Sep 96 WTI class will require the probable demobilization and mobilization of the contractor in order to secure sufficient aircraft parking for deploying units. This solicitation is not 100% set-aside for small business. Standard Industrial Code is 1611. Small Business size standard is $17 million. A limited number of bid packages, one set of specifications and half size plans, will be available and issued on a first come first serve basis.
