The work includes repair of existing rapid sand filter units including underdrain system, air scour system, dual filter media with sand and anthracite, automatic backwash control system, epoxy coating for filter interiors, cleaning and disposal of existing coating, and associated electrical work and demolition and incidental related work at MCAS, Yuma AZ, to include coordination of permitting requirements with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ). This solicitation is not 100% set aside for small business. Standard Industrial Code is 1629. Small business size standard is $7 million. A limited number of bid packages, one set of specifications and half size plans, will be available and issued on a first come first serve basis.
