Work includes providing lighted wind cones, runway/taxiway guidance signs; connecting wind cones and signs to the existing 6.6A series lighting circuits; pouring concrete mounting pads; and demolition and repair of paving and incidental work as required at MCAS, Yuma AZ. This solicitation is not 100% set aside for small business. Standard Industrial Code is 1731. Small business size standard is $7 million. A limited number of bid packages, one set of specifications and half size plans, will be available and issued on a first come first served basis. Request plans and specifications in writing by mail or by FAX (520) 341-3557. Please state solicitation number, complete name, area code, telephone number, street address, nine-digit zip code and whether you are participating as a prime/subcontractor/supplier. Telephone requests will not be honored. Plans and specifications will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office, but may be acquired in person. Plans will be available for inspection at the contracting office and will also be available for viewing at local plan services. Plans and specifications will be available approximately 24 April 1996 until supply is exhausted. No deposit required. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000.
