It is the delcared and acknowledged intention and meaning of this solicitation to provide the removal of lead-based paint, the removal and disposal of sections of existing piping, gasoline powered air compressor, and associated fittings and support systems. The work also includes the provision of new fluid coolers, after-coolers, float-actuated drain traps, bypasses and associated piping and controls, a diesel-driven air compressor and accessories, electrical work including interior power wiring systems, connection to existing interior distribution equipment, conduits and miscellaneous instruments and accessories, support systems and attachments, painting, clean-up, start-up and testing, and instruction of Government personnel. The work requires sequential installation of equipment and material and requires that there be no interruption in the availability of service air and incidental related work complete and ready for use at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Cutler, East Machias, ME 04630. All requests must be in writing; telephone requests will not be honored. A bid opening date has not been set for this solicitation.
