The work includes but is not limited to the following: a. Removal/demolition of existing floor tiles, wall finishes, suspended ceilings, toilet fixtures, CMU walls, partition walls, air conditioning units, electrical equipment, fire alarm systems, lighting fixtures, and exhaust systems. b. Construction of new toilets, ladies shower room, floor tiles, wall finishes, suspended ceiling, lighting system, air conditioning system, aerobic and exercise room. c. Installation of a new fire alarm system. d. All other works shown on the drawings and miscellaneous incidental work not shown that may be required to complete the project, all in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. Performance period will be 270 days; 90 days mobilization, 180 days actual construction time. The estimated magnitude is between $500,000.00 - $1 Million. Issuance of the IFB is anticipated on 7 May 96. This solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid in response to the solicitation.
