70 -- HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT SOL DMA100-96-R-5038 POC Ms. TOM ANSLOW, Contracting Specialist, (301) 227-5317 The Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) intends to procure hardware and software maintenance, support, updates, and upgrades, on a sole source basis, from CISCO Systems. Authority for sole source procurement is 10 USC 2304(c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1. These services are for CISCO hardware which is installed in Bethesda, MD, Reston, VA, and St. Louis, MO. Performance shall be for one base year and four one-year options. This is a synopsis of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with CISCO Systems and no solicitation shall be issued. No contract award will be made on the basis of any response to this notice. All responsible sources, responding in writing to this notice within fifteen days, will be given consideration, provided they supply clear and convincing evidence detailing their capabilities to fully maintain and support CISCO hardware.
