A -- SETA SUPPORT FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMMAND AND CONTROL SYSTEMS SOL N00014-96-R-TG04 POC Tommy Thomas, Contract Specialist, Code 3240.TG, Mary Ann Carpenter, Contracting Officer (202) 767-1473. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for Scientific, Engineering, Technical, and Analytical (SETA) services for basic research, development, and implementation to support military requirements. The areas of research include Information Technology (IT), Information Warfare (IW), and Information Security (INFOSEC) for Command and Control Systems as well as software engineering techniques to support hard-real-time systems in Decision Support technology for military mission planning, distributed Modeling and Simulation of military warfare, high-speed Networking technology, Virtual Reality, and Computer Visualization. The major portion of tasks will be performed at NRL. The successful contractor personnel will be required to have U.S. Citizenship and Secret level facility clearance. A special background investigation (SBI) will be required for performance of some of the effort. An Indefinite Quantity type contract is anticipated.
