The acquisition, in support of the Threat Simulator Management Office, provides for delivery of an XM330ES Enhanced Jammer System, documentation, training, options for the delivery of six additional XM330ES systems, and a level-of-effort option to provide engineering support for the improvement of the Army Enhanced Jammer Program. The XM330ES system is a key component of the Army Threat Simulator (ATS) integrated air defense (IAD) simulation capability. GTE, as the developer of the Army IAD simulation network, the XM330S/XM834S jammers and the enhanced design of the XM330ES system, is the only contractor with the specialized knowledge and background expertise to provide this effort in a cost effective and timely manner. Period of performance is 48 months. The proposed acquisition listed here is a sole source procurement to GTE Government Systems, 100 Ferguson Drive, Mt. View, CA 94039.
