acquisition, in support of the Threat Simulator Management Office,
provides for delivery of an XM330ES Enhanced Jammer System,
documentation, training, options for the delivery of six additional
XM330ES systems, and a level-of-effort option to provide engineering
support for the improvement of the Army Enhanced Jammer Program. The
XM330ES system is a key component of the Army Threat Simulator (ATS)
integrated air defense (IAD) simulation capability. GTE, as the
developer of the Army IAD simulation network, the XM330S/XM834S jammers
and the enhanced design of the XM330ES system, is the only contractor
with the specialized knowledge and background expertise to provide this
effort in a cost effective and timely manner. Period of performance is
48 months. The proposed acquisition listed here is a sole source
procurement to GTE Government Systems, 100 Ferguson Drive, Mt. View, CA
94039. The synopsis is for the purpose of advertising possible
