These samples will be taken by Coast Guard personnel during operations to recover Aids to Navigaton (ATON) electrical storage batteries. The Laboratory shall be certified by the State in which it is located. The laboratory analysis shall be conducted using standard EPA Laboratory procedures from the Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Wastes, SW-846, Third Edition. Work is expected to take place beginning July 1, 1996 thru September 30, 1996. A minimum of 200 samples are expected. SIC code is 8734.
