These structure replacements consist of the removal of existing corrugated metal pipes with flap gates, and subsequent installation of single 24-inch lined cylinder concrete pressure pipes, with concrete inlet headwalls, concrete outlet headwalls and flap gates. The work also includes removing one drainage structure at levee station 895+00 in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. The structure to be removed consists of a 24-inch corrugated metal pipe, concrete box inlet, concrete riverside gatewell, and a diagonal 12-inch metal drainage pipe to be cut and plugged. Principal features of the work include demolition, clearing and grubbing, excavation, backfill, embankment, engineering fabric, stone protection, corrugated steel sheeting, flap gates, lined cylinder reinforced concrete pressure pipe, concrete work, asphalt repair, control of water, erosion control, sand- clay-gravel or stone surfacing for levees, and environmental protection.
