Harvey (205) 235-7558 (Site Code DAAC01) This procurement consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work in strict accordance with specifications, schedules, and drawings that will be furnished with the solicitation package, to Repair and Reroof Building 121 at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL 36201. The work will include but is not limited to the following: removal of all asbestos-containing materials (ACM), demolition of failed trusses and all roofing structures originally supported by these two trusses, demolition of lighting, sprinkler system and security system in the damaged area, repairs to remaining trusses adjacent to the two which failed, repairs to damages of exterior masonry walls and pilasters, installation of reinforced concrete footings and steel support columns for new roof trusses, and fabrication and installation of two new structural glued laminated timber trusses, installation of new purling, decking, lateral and diagonal bracing, and other roofing support members and complete tearoff and replacement of remainder of built-up (flat) and sloped (shingled) areas of roofing at the building. Estimated magnitude of project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. One Job. Completion time is 180 calendar days from date of contract award. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds.
