Non-Electric, XM11 (A Blasting Cap with a 30' plastic tube crimped to
it. The plastic tube, known as ''Shock Tube'', contains a very fine
dusting of energetic material on the inside wall. The size and output
of the cap must be compatible with existing military explosives and
demolition devices. The inert XM11 is merely an unloaded version of the
XM11 with the appropriate markings, colors and holes.) Blasting Cap &
Shock Tube, XM9 (XM9 is a device which holds the XM11 in contact with
the shock tubes of other components so that a firing signal can be
branched to as many as five other components.) Cap, Blasting: Inert,
Non-electric, Delay, XM15 (XM15 is a 70' shock tube with a 200 MSEC
delay cap on one end with output equivalent to a number 12 commercial
blasting cap and a low powered 25 MSEC delay cap with its own holder on
the other end.) Cap, Blasting: Inert, Non-Electric 70 ft Shock tube
with initiator (An inert XM15 with the appropriate markings colors and
holes.) The following bid samples will be required to be submittd with
the offeror's proposal: a. one box of blasting caps with 30' of shock
tube attached (minimum of 20 items), commercial packaging is
acceptable. b. two dozen holders (commerical size acceptable). c. Bid
sample requirement may be waived for previous suppliers of bid samples
of a particular component. There will be one option year requirement
