Klapal (201)724-3274. The U.S. Army ARDEC intends to procure 65,062 M981 Ignition Cartridges for the 120mm Battalion Mortar System. The Government will provide the M44 propellant for lapping, and the M31 Fin and Inert Fuze for testing of the M981 Ignition Cartridge. The Government will be responsible for conducting ballistic testing. The contractor shall be required to sign a nondisclosure agreement before it can be provided with a copy of this solicitation. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. No contract award will be made until appropriated funds are made available from which paymant can be made.
