Boiler, 50 HP, 3-pass dry back automatic packaged firetube, produces approximately 1,725 lb/hr saturated steam from 212 degree feedwater, 150 PSI design pressure, utilizes no. 1 diesel fuel or natural gas with propane or natural gas pilot fuel, to include packaged feedwater system, automatic duplex water softener system, duplex chemical treatment system, centrifugal blowdown separator, and central control panel. Boiler system will be designed and installed by the contractor in a new 48 foot tandem axle trailer. The standard industry code (SIC) is 3433 and the number of employees is 500. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
