Division, (NRaD) San Diego is seeking potential sources for the
following items: UHF Light Weight SATCOM Antenna with the following
requirements: Frequency range from 240 to 318 Mhz, right-hand
circularly polarized in both receive and transmit, minimum gain of 8 dB
with reference to a circularly polarized isotropic radiator, 3 dB
beamwidth of 33 degrees or greater, VSWR of 1.5:1 or less between 240
and 290 Mhz and 1.2:1 or less between 290 and 318 Mhz, Axial Ratio of
3.0 dB or less within 3 dB of the beamwidth, power handling of 200
wattsavg., 800 watts PEP, upper hemisphere coverage, (360 degrees
azimuth and 0 to 90 degrees elevation, weight of 100 lbs or less,
physical size of no greater than 5 ft. in length, width and height.
Impedance of 50 ohms nominal over the operating frequency range, power
440 VAC, 3 phase, 50/60 Hz or 115 VAC, 1 phase 50/60 Hz, wind loading
of up to 75 knots (operating) and 75 to 125 knots (stowed) and
environmentally compatible with shipboard platforms. The Government is
not contemplating a presolicitation conference or formal solicitation
at this time. The purpose of this announcement is to identify
interested sources only. Interested sources shall provide information
on available Light Weight UHF SATCOM Antennas and shall submit any
commercial descriptive literature and/or documentation that identifies
the specifications for the products described herein. Documentation
