This Health Care System has a requirement for imaging plates and cassettes for the PAC System. It is the governments belief that these requirements can only be met by Fuji Medical Systems. The SIC code is 3844. This is not a formal solicitation. Interested parties are invited to identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. Alternative sources will be considered only if (1) clear and convincing documentation (including technical and pricing information) is furnished within 15 days of the publication of this synopsis, (2) the proposed technical information meets the needs of the Government, and (3) it is advantageous to the Government to consider alternate sources. If it can be established by examination of documentation submitted that an acceptable alternative source is available, the Government may decide to resynopsize as a full and open competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice, a contract will be negotiated with Fuji Medical Systems. Subject to the availability of funds. (0095)
