FISCNORVADETWASH intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with LECO Corporation of St. Joseph, Michigan on behalf of Norfolk Naval Shipyard Detachment (PESO) for a Simultaneous Carbon/Sulfur Analyzer. The analyzer must include the furnace (capable of converting solids to gas), autoloader, analyzer with interfaced balance, microprocessor, software, printer and start-up supplies (non-reusable crucibles, catalysts, reagents and other consumables) for 1000 samples. LECO is the only known source that has a furnace able to convert solids to gas. Destination: U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility, Yokusuka, Japan.
