notice is to solicit information as to the availability of potential
sources who have experience in the design, engineering, and fabrication
of thermal destruction systems for a variety of organic/inorganic
materials using a plasma arc torch. This type of system includes the
dissociation (gasification) of organic materials and the vitrification
(melting) of inorganic materials. Specifically the Customs Service is
interested in those firms who have experience with full scale systems
that can handle up to 300 pounds per hour. Contractor should provide
information relating to their experiences including, their roles and
responsibilities, the number and type of systems, location, types of
material (feed stream), permitting and certification capabilities, and
a list of previously awarded contracts including a point of contact.
All interested sources shall submit the requested information as
indicated above for evaluation purposes to the address shown above
attention of Pansy Bradley-Cooper. Response information shall also
indicate whether the firm is a large or small business concern.
Responses will be accepted twenty calendar days from the date of this
