International Cancer Information Center of the NCI intends to release
a Request for Proposals for the Cancer Information Analysis and
Tracking project (CIAT). The CIAT contract provides support services
for maintaining the content of the International Cancer Information
Center's (ICIC) information products and services, including the PDQ
and Rare Disease Clinical Research databases, CancerFax, CancerNet, and
the ICIC home page on the World Wide Web (WWW). Services provided
include writing, editing, abstracting, indexing, data entry, quality
control, and soliciting and incorporating updated information. Options
are provided for addition of work to index abstract information for
the CANCERLIT database and to expand the content of the Rare Disease
Clinical Research Database, should such services be required in 1998.
As additional ICIC information services are implemented, this contract
will also be responsible for maintenance of the content of these
services. RFP NCI-CO-61017-77 will be available electronically on or
about May 3, 1996, and may be accessed through either the NIH Gopher,
or the NIH Home Page by using the following electronic mail addresses
and instructions: 1) to access the NIH Gopher: Point your gopher client

Page, select ''Grants & Contracts'', then select R&D Requests for
Proposals (RFP).'' Please note that the RFP for this procurement only
include the Statement of Work, special contract requirements, the
Technical Evaluation Criteria, and proposal preparation instructions.
All information required for the submission of the proposal will be
contained in the electronic RFP package. Responses to the RFP will be
