D -- ASBESTOS INVENTORY TRACKING SOFTWARE DUE 050496 POC Barbara Ayers, Contract Management Advisor, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA 93555-6001. The Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake, CA is seeking sources for a proven software system capable of tracking asbestos inventories and enabling the implementation of an operations and maintenance plan for a facility with over 2000 buildings and structures. The database will contain data such as homogeneous areas, general building information, quantities and types of asbestos, inspection dates, sampling results, photos and/or drawings, and functional space data. The software system must be capable of generating reports that will include site summary data, priority list (compiled from data obtained in the field, and converted to numbers using the Sawyer Algorithm), functional space reports, homogeneous material lists, sample lists, photo and/or drawing lists, facility deficiency correction costs relative to each functional space, and sub-reports of any of the above user selected data. The software will have the capability of providing notification to the end user, such as re-inspection dates, recertification dates, etc. Work practices using the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) Operation and Maintenance Guidance Manual database will be required. The software shall be Structured Query Language (SQL) compliant, with open access to Geographical Information System (GIS) applications such as ArcInfo and Arcview. A data dictionary shall be provided identifying each of the field names and definition in the database structure.
