Pomraning, (410)605-7156 Contractor will provide fire protection support in the form of inspecting and evaluating identified buildings for compliance to Life Safety Code and completing the ''Statement of Conditions'' as described in the 1966 Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization Standards for the VA Maryland Health Care System - Baltimore Division, Perry Point Division, Ft. Howard Division, and the Cambridge Clinic in Cambridge, Maryland. Service must be completed no later than July 15, 1996. Offerors will be evaluated on the following factors listed in order of importance: (1) Cost; (2) Provide evidence of staff qualifications and experience in conducting fire protection inspections and evaluations for the staff that will be involved with this contract; (3) Provide a listing of facilities, facility owners/operators, and dates of completed JCAHO ''Statement of Conditions'' conducted at medical centers, hospitals, or outpatient clinics in the past three years; (4) Provide a comprehensive description of the range of fire protection engineering services currently offered; and (5) Provide a listing of facilities and facility owner/operators of which JCAHO ''Statement of Conditions'' are presently being conducted at medical centers, hospitals, or outpatient clinics that are at least 25% complete.
