The Armstrong Laboratory Support Directorate AL/SDJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Rothe Development Inc, San Antonio TX, to increase the NTE Ceiling on contract F41624-94-D-4001 by $7,000,000. No additional period of performance (term) is contemplated. This indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) time-and-materials contract was awarded as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside on 30 June 1994 for a period of five years. SIC Code 8731, 500 people, applies. All other terms and conditions of the contract will remain unchanged. This modification has been determined to be within the intent and scope of the basic contract for providing research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) on a delivery order basis (discrete work units) for engineering studies, design, development, and fabrication and/or modification of specialized equipment systems and subsystems composed of electronic, electrical, mechanical and electromechanical components for use in aerospace medical research investigation and components for use in aerospace medical research investigation and diagnostic evaluations at Brooks AFB.
