Tims Tel: (410) 965-9488 The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the International Social Security Association (ISSA), Case Postal 1, CH-1211 Geneva 22, Switzerland to: 1) acquire translation and data collection services related to social security trends and developments throughout the world; and 2) provide an electronic link to sources that provide social security laws, information on recent developments in social security and the full text of the Social Security Programs Throughout the World. ISSA has been determined by SSA to be the only source that can provide a scope of data, which may otherwise be unobtainable by U.S. agencies and organizations. The proposed contract shall have a base year and one (1) option year. No cost or pricing data is required or requested. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided. The solicitation/RFP number SSA-RFP-96-2604 will be released on or about May 19, 1996. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26. (0096)
