The Department of Education intends to acquire on a sole source basis, services and facilities necessary to provide GSA centrex lines, which are installed for Department employees to utilize, provided by Bell Atlantic, Silver Spring, MD. The purpose of this contract is to enable the representatives of the Department to be provided with WITS and centrex lines. This service will be acquired through Bell Atlantic, since no other source can be satisfy ED's requirements. See Numbered Note 22. (0096)
