The Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD) will issue a commercial item solicitation for an audit of the BPD Administering the Public Debt Appropriation (administrative accounts) financial statements for Fiscal Year 1996, and options to audit four future fiscal years' accounts. The audit services shall include audit of the BPD's administrative accounts financial statements, evaluation of its internal control structure, assessment of its compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and assessment of whether the information and manner of its presentation in the ''Overview of the Reporting Entity'' and Supplemental Financial and Management Information sections are materially consistent with the information in the BPD administrative accounts statements.
