COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF APRIL 9,1996 PSA#1569FEDERAL INTERAGENCY SMALL BUSINESS COUNSELING EXPO AND NETWORKING
BREAKFAST These two events will be held in conjunction with Small
Business Week in Washington, DC on June 4, 1996. The Federal
Interagency Small Business Counseling Expo is designed for small
business representatives to get the opportunity to network with many
area Federal Contracting Personnel, Prime Contractors, and VAN's. Each
group will work one-on-one with each small business representative.
Here's how these groups will work: Federal Agency Contractors will
inform you on how better to do business with their agency, Prime
Contractors will inform you of subcontracting and partnership
opportunities, and VAN representatives will show you how to get on-line
to bid electronically for contracts. Also, prior to this event there
will be a NSBC Member's Networking Breakfast. The breakfast will enable
small business representatives the opportunity to meet and eat
breakfast with government representatives and other commercial
representatives as well. The breakfast is a semi-formal environment
with a relaxed atmosphere that will also include two seminars. Both of
these events together will make this day a great opportunity to ask
all those questions in which you have sought answers. If you wish to
receive more information on this event or any other upcoming networking
events, please call the National Small Business Council, Inc, (a
non-profit organization), at (301) 596-0770. Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0392 19960408\SP-0004.MSC)
