The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) at Edwards AFB, California, has a requirement for a Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) data acquisition system used to support the KC-10 Air Refueling Test Program. This market survey is being conducted to find sources capable of providing a system equivalent to the PCM data acquisition system described in this announcement. The requirement is for a PCU-800 series PCM Chassis with integral high performance signal conditioning cards installed, Aydin Vector, P/N PCU808 or equal. The PCU-800 series PCM Chassis meets Department of Defense (DOD) Common Airborne Instrumentation System (CAIS) compatibility requirements and can operate as a master controller or remote slave unit, or as a stand-alone system. The PCU-800 series PCM Chassis houses the following six (6) cards: a 16-channel RMS signal conditioning card, Aydin Vector, P/N ACC116 or equal; a 4-channel strain gage signal conditioning card, Aydin Vector, P/N SCC104 or equal; a 2-channel LVDT signal conditioning card, Aydin Vector, P/N LVDT102 or equal; a 24-channel discrete interface card, Aydin Vector, P/N DMC124 or equal; a ARINC 429 bus interface card, Aydin Vector, P/N ARC429T or equal; and, a 32-channel analog interface card, Aydin Vector, P/N AMC132 or equal.
