Each cable must be fifteen (15) meters in length and be made up of six (6) fibers (85/125um). One end of each cable must have a connector compatible with the Hughes six (6) channel hermaphroditic connector (Part No. 4569811-3H) or equivalent, and the other end must have a connector compatible with a six (6) fiber standard commercial ST connector. The cables are to be utilized in the repair of specific unique-sized (85/125um) fiber optic cables currently being used with the Marine Corps' Tactical Air Operations Modules (TAOMs).
