U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific proposes to contract for drydock and repair of USCGC Sedge, a 180' buoy tender, homeported in Homer, AK. All work will be performed at a facility capable of drydocking the cutter during the period of 5 Aug through 27 Sep 1996. Work items include; temporary services, drydocking underwater body inspection, underwater body preservation, sea valve/waster piece overhaul, single point davit overhaul and test, rudder, rudder stock maintenance, sewage tank preservation, ventilation duct cleaning, warping capstan overhaul, evaporator chemical cleaning, heat exchanger overhaul, electric motor overhaul, anchor windlass overhaul, waveguide replacement and replacement of both main propulsion generators and main motor brushes.
