Candelora/Msg/ Pkb/513-257-3536 This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside for remedial maintenance of peripheral computer equipment at fourteen (14) Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) bases located throughout the continental United States (CONUS). The effort required is not severable. Offerors must be able to perform this effort at all fourteen (14) bases. These bases are widely dispersed throughout CONUS. All items of equipment must be maintained on an on call basis. Equipment to be supported was supplied to the Government and installed by WANG, Inc. It is used in Civil Engineering offices, base quartering facilities, commissaries, base exchanges, and base contracting offices at all locations. Systems included within this acquisition section are as follows: a. Base Contracting Automated System (BCAS) b. Services Information Management System (SIMS) c. Work Information Management System (WIMS) Equipment consists of printers, modems, workstations, tape drives, cash registers, monitors, keyboards, chassis, and other items of equipment in general commercial use. It does not include any software maintenance requirement of computer mainframe (Core equipment) maintenance. The approximate issue/response date will be 10 May 96. The anticipated award date will be 03 Jun 96. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests.
