The initial award may be only the base bid (Building 3251) or both buildings, depending upon availability of funds. The Contracting Officer has 365 days from date of initial award to exercise the option. However, if funding does not become available, the option will not be exercised at all. If both buildings are awarded simultaneously, work schedule may be phased. A follow-on notice will be issued with specific information on availability dates and cost of plans/specifications.
