The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and construct a battery charging room expansion, adjacent and attached to the existing building (see plans and specifications). Building expansion to be approximately 716 sq. ft., one-story, type Vn construction, B-2 occupancy and battery charging uses. Scope of work includes related site work, electrical and mechanical work as defined in the contract documents. The estimated cost range is between $155,000 and $170,000, with a construction completion date of 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. On-site contact is Maintenance Manager Larry Lightfoot (719/570-5390). Site visitation is not mandatory but encouraged. Cost of the plans and specifications for this project is $50 per set, nonrefundable. Be sure to reference the subject solicitation number on your request.
