The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Teradyne Incorporated for the acquisition of Logic Automated Stimulus and Reponse (LASAR) Version (V) 6, a Digital Automated Test Program Generator (DATPG), VX-2, L300 software, Boundary Scan Intelligent Diagnostics (BSID) and Memory Test (Memtest) modules in order to support the Navy's development of Digital Test Program Sets (TPS) for the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) for nine workstations. The workstations include single user and multi user licenses. This acquisition is for renewal of the existing license agreements for a period of one year with four one year option periods thereafter. This acquisition is for supplies for which NAWCADLKE does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. NAWCADLKE intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. Teradyne, Inc. of Boston, MA as the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the above software is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary. Firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered.
