TOMEI, (847) 688-5628 EXT. 161 The original synopsis, published on March 20, 1996, is modified as follows: It is the intent of this solicitation to obtain hospital housekeeping services at the Medical Treatment Facilities and custodial services for affiliated structures at the Great Lakes Naval Hospital Complex, Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, IL. The Contractor's responsibility will be evaluated with particular attention to their ability to provide housekeeping services in a hospital, healthcare or patientcare environment. The Contractor will be required to employ an executive housekeeper throughout the entire contract period. The executive housekeeper shall meet specific education, training, and experience requirements identified in the solicitation. The proposed contract will be for a period of one year with the option to extend for four additional years. The option will exercised at the discretion of the Government if it is determined that the exercising is in the Government's best interest. The solicitation will be issued as 8A competitive under SIC code 7349.
