The project consists of a 1,257 square meter pre-engineered structure for the fire fighting apparatus, which includes 7 bays, vehicle washing and maintenance facility, hose storage and drying, parts and tools, and general storage. The administrative area is 1,742 square meters, housing the administrative functions, dormitory sleeping rooms, TV and day room, kitchen, training classroom, locker rooms, protective clothing laundry, and emergency response, and communications control rooms. The walls are combination of split CMU and brick on concrete foundations. The facility has concrete slab floors and standing seam metal roof. Included are all utilities, landscaping with automatic irrigation system, outside patio with arbor, and concrete sidewalks. Demolition of existing structures with asbestos removal is also included. Natural gas is used for heating. Heating and ventilation system has direct digital controls. This project is being designed in hard metric system. Plans and specs projected available on or about 28 Aug 96 at no charge per set. No individual sheets are available.
