Z -- WASTE SOLIDIFICATION SYSTEM contact: David Dale, Sr. Contracts Specialist, 516-344-3199. This contract will be set aside for bidding by small businesses only. SIC code 1542 applies. Work consists of furnishing and installing the complete Waste Solidification System including the control system, piping, vessels, electrical and lead shielding. Also includes is system design and programming. Provide all required test equipment, performance testing and startup assistance at owner's site. All work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction cost is $100,000 to $200,000. Estimated construction time is 26 weeks. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $50 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ``Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable. Checks may be sent immediately and bid packages will be mailed upon availability. Requests for bid packages received without proper payment will not be acknowledged. (099)
