D -- SOFTWARE ENHANCEMENTS SOL 96-JFD-004 DUE 042696 POC Contact Jim Driscoll (202) 606-5000, ext 365 The Corporation for National Service (CNS) intends to award a delivery order under GSA Schedule Contract No. GS-00K-92-AFS-2502-PS08 to ICF Information Technology, Fairfax, VA, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1)). ICF is the original source for CNS' Federal Success software program and upgrades. At a minimum, CNS intends to enhance the following elements of its Federal Success program: (1) Report Modifications; (2) Design and Implementation of New Reports/Statements; (3) Year End Closing; (4) Automated Cash Reconciliation with Treasury; and (5) Completion of an Automated Interface. Continued development and enhancement of the agency's Federal Success program, without duplicating costs or causing unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements, makes it necessary to award this contract to ICF. Work must begin within 15 business days of award. Firms that can furnish the requirement at prices, terms, and conditions better than those in the GSA schedule must submit, within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this synopsis, clear and convincing data sustaining their ability to furnish the services and indicating that it is advantageous to the Government to consider non-schedule offerors. No contract award will be made on the basis of any response to this notice since the synopsis of intent to place an order against a schedule contract is not considered a solicitation document.
