PENNA (503) 326-6364 (Site Code DACW57) Technicians shall be FCC licensed and have extensive experience in the maintenance of continuous carrier microwave systems, frequency division multiplexing, telephone signaling equipment, frequency shift keying devices, digital and microprocessor technology and UHF, VHF radio systems. The communications system consists of several VHF base systems and repeaters that are located at various projects and locations throughout the Willamette Valley, Oregon. The hydrological data collection system employs one computer which collects data such as river and reservoir levels, air and water temperatures, precipitation, snowfall, windrum, ets. These parameters are collected by five VHF base stations and UHF link equipment and transmitted to the computer via the UHF and microwave backbone systems. This data collection system utilizes frequency shift keying, digital electronics and microprocessor technology. Contract period is for one year from date of award with four one year options to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. IFB available on or about May 13, 1996 at no charge. Tentative bid opening date is June 13, 1996. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns, the size standard for which is a concern, including affiliates, having an average annual sales or receipts for the preceding three years not in excess of $5 million.
