You are hereby notified in accordance with AFFARS Appendix BB, that a source selection acquisition is in progress for the Mission Support Contract. The RFP will be released to industry on 4 Apr 96. It is anticipated that contract award will be made by 6 Aug 96. 2. The objective of this contract is for the contractor(s) to provide personnel of various skills at Kelly AFB and McClellan AFB to sustain the Air Force mission in the face of an anticipated substantial decline in the number of Civil Service employees due to base closure and/or realignment. 3. During the conduct of this source selection, contact regarding this requirement by potential or participating offerors is not allowed. The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to contact potential offerors for this requirement and the Source Selection Authority (SSA) is the only person with authority to release information regarding an ongoing source selection.
