Box 25546, Denver, Colorado 80225-0546 Solicitation GS-08p-96-JFC-0006 This is a Presolicitation Notice to notify potential general contractors that GSA will be soliciting technical proposals from General Contractors and their Subcontractors for construction of the proposed Federal Building National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration Administration (NOAA), in the vicinity of Boulder, Colorado. The proposed NOAA Building will contain approximately 236,500 occupiable square feet (372,000 gross square feet) which includes laboratory, computer, office, conference, machine shop, and other space, and construction cost is in excess of $40 Million. Consider- ation is open to all firms qualified to construct such a project. GSA will review the technical proposals and determine those firms who are tech- nically acceptable. The proposed project and location is subject to an Environmental impact Statement (EIS) which is currently in process, and will proceed only if the record of decision recommends proceeding with the project. After the Record of Decision, the technically acceptable firms will then be requested to submit a sealed bid.
