Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove built-up rubber deposits from both ends of the active runway, approximately 300,000 square feet (SF). Removal will be on both asphaltic concrete (AC) and Portland cement concrete (PCC) pavements. Paint pavement marking on the airfield, to include the full length of the runway, approximately 260,000 SF. Painting shall include all surface preparation and reflective media. Remove and mask miscellaneous existing pavement markings on the airfield, about 10,000 SF. Survey and repair as necessary surface deficiencies for 200 feet either side of the aircraft arresting cable at one end of the runway. Repairs, if required, will be on AC and PCC pavements and may include grinding, profiling, milling, overlaying, and full depth repair. This project will require some night and weekend work as required to limit the impact to the flying. The total performance period for this project will be determined prior to issuance of the Invitation for Bid. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
