Harris is the manufacturer and designer of the computer which has been specifically adapted by them for use with the Terminal Doppler Weather Radar. Harris wrote the Remote Diagnostic Control Processor software and the operating system software. This acquisition will be made pursuant to the 1996 DOT Appropriations Act, signed into law as Public Law 104-50 on November 15, 1996. (0103)
