This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotations prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only notice. There are no setasides. SIC codes and business size standards are inapplicable. Quantity requested is 40 each. Pioneer CLD-V2600 or equal laser disk player must be compatible with Pioneer UC-V108BC or equal barcode reader and must have built-in laser bar code, laser barcode 2 and barcode CD capability. Must be a fully automatic disc loading system, be capable of providing interface for computer control and allowing the CLD-V2600 to be connected to the Apple II, Macintosh, IBM, Amiga, and other computers. Must also have an RF modulator so that the CLD-V2600 can be connected to any television monitor. The level II system is a monitor, player (CLD-V2600) and computer, system control by computer allowing access to computer data as well as audio/video material on the disc. Must have skip forward/reverse, scan forward and reverse; must be capable of text display for titles, instructions, and commments; must allow 10 lines of twenty characters, upper and lower case, to be displayed over still or motion video. Machine must be of strong metal case to support 12-inch monitor with three prong grounded poser cord; must play a variety of formats, including laser disc, CD audio discs (3-inch and 5-inch) and CD-video discs; must provide auto start and auto repeat, multi speed playback, wireless remote control and enlarged keypad.
