(Voice Mail), PCF. A - The U.S. Army Missile Command (MICOM)
anticipates a requirement for the following Smart Weapons Master
Planning Services: Smart Weapons Master Planning Services; technology
experiments and assessments; independent technical/programmatic
assessments; plans, procedures and programs; data bases; educational
products and services; and operations security to support the Army
Material Command (AMC) Smart Weapons Management Office (SWMO) and smart
weapons community for 60 months. This anticipated cost-plus-fixed-fee
(level-of-effort) contract is a follow-on to the current SWMO contract,
DAAH01-94-C-0089. This follow-on action will be 100% Small Business
Set-Aside under SIC Code 3761 and will consist of a 12-month basic
effort and four consecutive 12-month base options, each consisting of
approximately 6,000 composite manhours. The basic effort and each base
option will be augmented by surge options of approximately 74,000
manhours each. Therefore, the total anticipated level-of-effort,
including options, is 400,000 composite manhours. A reading room for
this requirement will be established and will be available by April 15,
1996. Access to the Reading Room may be coordinated with Ms. Gwen
Wallace, AMSMI-RD-CS-R, Redstone Scientific Information Center (RSIC),
building 4484, off Martin Road, North Entrance, phone 205/842-8446.
Visit requests from domestic services providers without foreign control
should be faxed to 205/876-6000, (ATTN: Ms. Wallace). Information
needed for the visit request should include: visitors name, citizenship
information, social security number, name of company, address of
company, and facility cage code. Reading room hours shall be from
0830-1130 a.m. and 1230-1530 p.m., Monday through Friday, except
Federal Holidays. Appointments shall not exceed three hours and will be
limited to no more than four people. Available documents will include,
but will not be limited to, the draft solicitation including draft
statement of work, DD Form 254, and DD Forms 1423; the current SWMO
contract with all modifications; and approximately 70 unclassified
documents. Other documents will be added as deemed appropriate. There
will be no classified documents in the reading room. U.S. citizens
representing wholly owned U.S. companies or U.S. entities may review
unclassified information with reproduction allowed. RSIC provides
equipment and monitors for site reproduction. Representatives of
foreign owned companies/entities and non-U.S. citizens must get
specific approval through intelligence and security channels.
Anticipated issuance date of the Draft RFP is May 1, 1996. The
solicitation, when issued, may be viewed on the MICOM Electronics
Bulletin Board System (BBS). To log in to the BBS, modem settings
should be as follows: 9600 to 300 baud, 8 bit, 1 stop bit, no parity,
and terminal emulation to VT100. The BBS number is 205/955-8175 or
205/955-8176. Once you are connected, hit return and a service prompt
will appear. At this prompt type PROC and hit return. At the log in
prompt type bbs and at the password prompt type user. After logging in
to the BBS, you will be required to enter your first and last name,
company name, and generate a password for your company. You are
reminded that the BBS is intended for informational purposes only. The
