Z -- REDESIGN DRAINAGE PUMP OUTLET CHANNEL (DPOC) NO. 1 AND RELOCATE DPOC NO. 2 SOL 1425-6-SI-30-12130 DUE 061096 POC Ms. Maria Duarte, Contract Specialist, 520/343-8135, Ms. Patricia Geary, Contracting Officer 520/343-8137, Synopsis No. 96-05 The principle components of the work on DPOC1 to be performed under these specifications includes: demolition, removal, and legal disposal of approximately 3,760 lineal feet of unreinforced canal lining, furnishing, compacting, and grading 350 cubic yards of soil material to provide embankment for the replacement canal, reshaping the channel prism including compaction of subgrade; provide inlet for Well No. 716, dewatering as required to perform the required work in the dry, furnishing and placing a new 2-inch thick canal lining, expansion joints, joints sealants, and control joints, and a new 2 inch thick transition structure between siphon and new canal. The principal components of the work on DPOC2 to be performed include demolition, removal, and legal disposal of approximately 2,500 lineal feet of unreinforced canal lining, excavation and regarding for the relocated 2,550 feet of canal trench, reshaping channel prism including compaction of subgrade; provide inlet for Well #8, dewatering as required to perform the required work in the dry, furnishing and placing a new 2-inch thick canal lining, expansion joints, joint sealants, and control joints, and furnishing and installing a precast concrete bridge structure to provide canal crossing.
